Since its creation in the early 60’s, EFFA has made the defence of the flavour and fragrance industry‘s interests its top priority.  We invite you to visit this site regularly since it will be expanding and evolving constantly.

Flavours or flavourings are concentrated mixtures of different flavouring ingredients. They are prepared by using the following:

·      Natural aromatic raw materials

·      Natural flavour concentrates

·      Natural, nature-identical or artificial flavouring substances having a defined chemical structure

·      Process flavourings

·      Smoke flavourings.

Flavours provide taste to a large number of foods and beverages, such as sweets, meat and savoury products, soups, beverages, alcoholic liqueurs, dairy products.
